On Wednesday, October 7, 2009 Annunciation parents heard a presentation from Dr. Christopher Bolling on the dangers of childhood obesity.  Dr. Bolling has been doing research in the area of childhood obesity for over twenty years and pioneered the Healthworks Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. 

Thirty years ago childhood obesity was not an issue today the number of children suffering from obesity is increasing at alarming rates.  Dr. Bolling encouraged parents to offer fruits and vegetables, stay away from drinks high in sugar and to encourage their children to be more active.
